اهمیت آموزش    Cisco Security Core Technologies (350-701)  در مقایسه با سایر مدارک هم رده سیسکو بسیار زیاد می باشد . افرادی که توانایی کار با ویژگی های امنیتی روتر و سوییچ ها ، ASA  و IPS را دارند از وضعیت شغلی مناسبی در بازار کارمی توانند بهره مند شوند

در  این دورهنحوه پیاده سازی ویژگی های امنیتی روترها و سوئیج ها شامل Zone based Firewall، Cisco IOS IPS و UserBased Firewall به دانشجویان آموزش داده خواهد شد
